Installing Empire Studios

Windows

1. Open EmpireStudiosSetup.exe. If Windows says "Windows protected your PC", click More info, then Run anyway.
2. Click Next, Install, Finish. Empire Studios opens in its own window.
3. Next time, open it from the crown icon on your desktop or Start menu.

Mac

1. Open the downloaded zip if it didn't open by itself, and drag Empire Studios into your Applications folder.
2. Double-click it. Mac will say it can't check it for malicious software: click Done (or OK).
3. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway next to Empire Studios, then confirm.
4. It opens by itself. If it asks to access your Documents folder, click Allow.
5. Next time, open it from Applications or Launchpad. You only do steps 2-3 once.

Turn it on

Click Activate Empire Studios on the page you saw after buying (or in your key email), on the same computer. Or paste your license key on Empire Studios' welcome screen.
